Improving the Village

Laguna Woods Village is a wonderful place for active adults to live and thrive, and since opening in 1964, our 2,100-acre community has achieved many significant improvements. The Village Community Fund came into existence as a vehicle for residents, their family members, friends, and other charitable institutions to support planned improvements with a donation and receive a charitable deduction. The Fund can also serve as a means for families and friends to donate and honor the memory of a loved one. Limited naming rights exist for naming buildings, rooms, spaces, equipment, and facilities.

In addition, many of the Village’s 260 registered clubs have dedicated members who have expressed a desire to enhance their clubs through charitable donations for approved projects.
The Village Community Fund’s role is to plan and facilitate such gift opportunities in cooperation with GRF, Village Management Services, Inc., and individual clubs or groups of residents.

Who Benefits? The Village Community Fund supports programs, services, and facilities that are accessible to Laguna Woods residents and older adults living in the outside community.
